Stag and Hen Transport in Prague

Prague is one of Europe's most popular stag and hen weekend destinations, drawing thousands of groups annually from the UK, Germany, Scandinavia, and the Netherlands. The combination of affordable drink prices, a compact city-centre nightlife geography, and a wide range of activity options makes Prague consistently the first or second most-booked European stag city. The main Old Town nightlife zone (Wenceslas Square and the streets between Namesti Republiky and Narodni Trida) is largely walkable, but a minibus or coach is the essential tool for getting the group together at the start and for activity-venue runs.

Prague stag and hen transport is most commonly used for: airport pick-up and hotel drop-off on arrival, transfers to activity venues (karting, shooting ranges, paintball) outside the city centre, and late-night returns from the Zizkov district and the Old Town. For groups of 10 to 19, a minibus is the standard vehicle; groups of 20 to 55 use a midi-coach or full-size coach.

Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, and the Central Night Quarter

The Old Town Square (Staromestske namesti) and the surrounding pedestrian streets (Dlouha, Parizska, Kozi) are the most concentrated bar and restaurant area in Prague for evening groups. Hemingway Bar (Kajetanska 5), Hemingway's wine bar concept, and the Hemingways of the city are in this zone. Wenceslas Square (Vaclavske namesti, 1 kilometre south of the Old Town Square) is the city's main commercial boulevard and a major nightlife axis; it runs 700 metres from the National Museum at the top to Mustek at the bottom. The streets immediately off Wenceslas Square -- Stepanska, Vodickova, and Jungmannova -- contain clubs (Klub 007, Lucerna Bar, Cross Club) and cocktail bars. Coaches drop off on Namesti Republiky or Palackeho Street; collection is from the same points.

Zizkov: The Alternative Night District

Zizkov (2 kilometres east of the Old Town, accessible by coach via Seifertova or Zizkov hill route) is Prague's most concentrated pub district, with more pubs per capita than almost anywhere in Europe. The Zizkov television tower (the distinctive 216-metre structure with crawling babies on its sides) is the neighbourhood landmark. The main pub streets are Seifertova and Slavikova; the Zizkov venue cluster includes the iconic Blind Eye, Bukowski's Bar, and Pivo Klub. Coaches collect from Seifertova or Jiriho z Podebrad Square (the Zizkov centre, accessible by coach).

Activity Venues: Karting, Shooting, and Paintball

Prague Karting (Za Zlabelkami 1, Stodulky, 11 kilometres south-west via the D5, approximately 20 minutes) is the largest indoor karting facility in Central Bohemia and takes group bookings for stag sessions year-round. Shooting ranges are among the most distinctively Prague activity: several indoor ranges within the city accept group bookings for pistol, rifle, and machine gun sessions (all legal, with full supervision). The most established are in Smichov and Holesovice. Paintball is based in the Pruhonice area south-east of the city (12 to 15 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes). All venues require advance group booking and provide safety briefings.
