Milan has two major live music venues: the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (San Siro), used for major stadium rock and pop tours in summer (June to August) when the football season breaks, with a capacity of around 80,000, and the Mediolanum Forum in Assago (south of the city), an indoor arena with a capacity of approximately 12,700 used year-round for concerts and events.
The Ippodromo La Maura, the former horse-racing venue in the north-west of the city, is increasingly used as a large outdoor festival site -- it hosted Primavera Sound Milano in 2022 and other major outdoor events. MI-AMI, an independent music festival focused on Italian and emerging acts, is typically held at the Idroscalo urban beach park east of the city in May. The Autodromo Nazionale Monza, 15 kilometres north-east, hosts the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix each September -- one of Europe's most popular motorsport events for coach group travel.
San Siro is 7 kilometres west of the Duomo, approached by coach via Via Piccolomini from the west. The stadium has a large designated coach and bus park to the south. For concerts, drop-off and pick-up are on the approach roads; we agree a fixed meeting point and time for the post-concert pickup to avoid the dispersal crowd. The summer concert series runs from June to August, typically on weekends. Touring acts in the 80,000-capacity venue include the largest global names in pop and rock.
The Mediolanum Forum is in Assago, approximately 12 kilometres south of the city centre, about 20 to 25 minutes by coach via the Via dei Missagai and the A7 motorway junction. It is an indoor arena seating around 12,700 used year-round for concerts, sporting events, and shows. Coach access to Assago is straightforward. For groups from the north or east of the city, a coach is significantly more convenient than the Metropolitana and a bus change to Assago.
The Ippodromo La Maura outdoor festival site is in the north-west of the city near the San Siro area; coach access follows the same approach as San Siro. Monza's Autodromo is 15 kilometres north-east of the city, about 25 minutes by coach. The Italian F1 Grand Prix is held in September and is one of the most sought-after motorsport events in the world. The Monza grandstands and camping areas are spread across a large forested park; coach transport allows groups to arrive together and depart at an agreed time after the race rather than queuing for trains.
| Vehicle type | Approx. daily range |

City arena and San Siro events are at the lower to mid range. Monza F1 Grand Prix and out-of-city festival transport are at the higher end.
