Chester is approximately 45 kilometres west via the M56, around 35 to 45 minutes. Liverpool city centre is 55 kilometres via the M56 and M62, around 45 to 55 minutes. Leeds is 70 kilometres east via the M60 and M62, around 60 to 75 minutes. Sheffield is 70 kilometres south-east via the M60 and M1, around 55 to 65 minutes. The Lake District (Windermere) is approximately 120 kilometres north via the M60 and M6, around 90 to 110 minutes.
