Sopot is Poland's most famous Baltic beach resort, a compact town of 35,000 between Gdansk (18 km south) and Gdynia (14 km north) on the Tri-City coast. The Pier (Molo) and Beach
Sopot's wooden pier (Molo) extends 511 metres into the Baltic and is the town's defining landmark. Tri-City Circuit (Gdansk and Gdynia)
A Tri-City day circuit combines Sopot beach and pier with Gdansk Old Town and the Solidarity Centre (18 km south, 20 minutes) and Gdynia modernist Sea Towers and naval museum (14 km north, 15 minutes).
