Airport Transfer Coach in Madrid

Terminals 1, 2, and 3 at MAD share a common arrivals building; coach collection bays are in the ground-floor forecourt area signed from the arrivals exit of each terminal. Terminal 4 has its own arrivals area and a separate coach bay on the ground floor; T4S arrivals connect to T4 by the terminal's internal people-mover. Transfer time from T1-T3 to central Madrid (Gran Via, Puerta del Sol, or the Retiro area) is 25 to 35 minutes via the A-2. Transfer time from T4 to central Madrid is 20 to 30 minutes. IFEMA is adjacent to T4; most delegate groups need no more than a 5 to 10 minute coach journey from T4 arrivals to the IFEMA entrance gates.

IFEMA Madrid is Spain's largest trade fair and congress venue, with over 200,000 square metres of exhibition space and a dedicated congress centre. Its position adjacent to T4 makes it the most airport-accessible major trade fair venue in Spain. Groups attending Fitur (tourism), ARCO (contemporary art), Madrid Fusion (gastronomy), or any of the IFEMA trade calendar events can transfer from T4 to the venue in minutes. For groups staying in the city centre hotels and attending IFEMA, transfer time from the Gran Via and Castellana hotel clusters is 25 to 35 minutes by coach via the M-30 or the M-11. The Madrid Convention Centre (IFEMA Congressos) provides the formal congress facilities within the IFEMA campus.

Madrid's position in central Castile makes it an efficient starting point for heritage and cultural day trips. Toledo is 75 kilometres south of MAD via the A-42, approximately 65 minutes by coach. Segovia is 90 kilometres north-west via the A-6, around 80 minutes. El Escorial is 55 kilometres north-west, approximately 50 minutes. Avila is 110 kilometres west via the A-6 and AP-51, approximately one hour.
