Zambia's group transport has two centres of gravity: Lusaka for business and conferences, Livingstone for Victoria Falls. They are 470 km apart, so most itineraries fly between them and charter locally at each end. One enquiry covers both leg by leg, with a fixed quote per journey.
Two airports, two jobs
Kenneth Kaunda International (LUN) serves Lusaka and the country's conference and NGO traffic; Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International (LVI) sits ten minutes from Livingstone town and exists almost entirely for the falls. Livingstone transfers are short and frequent: airport to hotel, hotel to the falls entrance, and the border run to the Victoria Falls bridge. Book the airport meet with flight numbers; both airports are compact and the driver waits at arrivals.
Victoria Falls logistics
The falls sit minutes from Livingstone, and group days run on a shuttle rhythm: the viewing trails in the morning before the heat, sunset cruises on the upper Zambezi in the evening, and optional crossings to the Zimbabwean side via the bridge border, which needs passports and visa planning but only a short drive. High water from roughly February to May gives the biggest spray; low water from September opens Devil's Pool trips. Vehicles here book out around regional conference weeks, so tie transport to hotel bookings early.
Safari connections and the Copperbelt
South Luangwa, Zambia's flagship park, works through Mfuwe airport with lodge 4x4s taking over at the gate; Lower Zambezi runs the same way. The coach's role is the city ends and the tarmac corridors, including the Great North Road and the Copperbelt run to Ndola and Kitwe for mining-sector corporate work. Intercity legs are planned for daylight, standard practice across the region.
