Movement between the island and the mainland is by air, so island and mainland transport are planned as separate legs. Keep the airport transfer meeting point and any terminal access confirmed in advance.
Getting around Malabo
Malabo is compact, and corporate groups are usually moved on short managed transfers between the airport, hotels and meeting venues. For conferences and delegate programmes a held vehicle with a driver is the practical approach.
The mainland at Bata
On the mainland, Bata is the base for coastal and interior journeys, including the modern road toward the planned inland capital. Distances and conditions vary, so confirm the route and timing when booking a coach or minibus.
