Bus & Coach Hire in Cameroon

Group transport in Cameroon works well where we run it: the southern corridor between Douala, the commercial hub, and Yaounde, the capital, plus the Kribi coast. Corporate and organisational charters dominate, with drivers and journey-specific quotes. Several regions sit under FCDO advisories and we do not operate there; the working map is stated plainly below.

Douala, Yaounde and the corridor

Douala International (DLA) is the business gateway; Yaounde Nsimalen (NSI) serves the capital. The road between the two cities runs about four hours and carries most of the country's intercity charter work, driven in daylight as standard practice. In both cities the day-to-day bookings are corporate: hotel-to-office shuttles, delegation programmes around ministries and port offices, and event transport, all quoted journey by journey with drivers who know the traffic's moods.

Kribi and the southern leisure map

The leisure side of the working map points south: Kribi's beaches and the Lobe waterfalls, which drop directly into the Atlantic, are about three hours from Douala on a sealed road and make the standard weekend group trip. Limbe, under Mount Cameroon, adds a black-sand coast and a well-regarded wildlife centre, though routes there are checked case by case given the neighbouring advisory zones. Mount Cameroon itself, West Africa's highest peak, is climbed with licensed guides from Buea when conditions and advice allow.

Where we do not operate

The FCDO advises against all travel to the Far North, the Northwest and Southwest regions, and the border areas with Nigeria, Chad and the Central African Republic, with further all-but-essential zones beyond them. We do not arrange transport into any of those areas, full stop. Itineraries are confirmed leg by leg against current advice at booking, and where a programme's needs fall inside an advisory zone we say so and decline that leg rather than pretend.

Bus Hire in Cameroon: Common Questions

The southern working corridor: Douala, Yaounde, the four-hour road between them, and the Kribi coast, with Limbe checked case by case. We do not arrange transport into the FCDO advisory zones, including the Far North and the Northwest and Southwest regions.

About four hours on the main intercity road, driven in daylight as standard practice, with a rest stop midway. It carries most of the country's charter traffic: delegations, staff moves and event groups, quoted journey by journey with experienced drivers.

Kribi is the standard: about three hours south on sealed road to beaches and the Lobe falls, which pour straight into the ocean, usually as a weekend group trip. Limbe's black-sand coast and wildlife centre run when the route check clears against current advice.

Journey-specific quotes rather than a flat rate card, drivers, daylight intercity legs, and leg-by-leg confirmation against FCDO advice at booking. Recurring shuttle patterns in Douala or Yaounde are priced as contracts once the schedule is fixed.
