Brunei International Airport
Brunei International Airport (BWN) sits just a few kilometres from central Bandar Seri Begawan, so the arrival transfer is one of the shortest anywhere, often under 15 minutes to the main hotels. Most groups arrive via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Dubai connections. The driver meets the group outside arrivals with a name board; book the group transfer with the flight number and pickup adjusts to delays automatically.
The capital circuit
The standard Bandar Seri Begawan day links the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the city centre, the larger Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, the Royal Regalia Museum, and the jetties for Kampong Ayer, the stilted water village where boat operators take over for the crossing. Plan around prayer times, especially Friday midday when sites and many businesses close; drivers here build the pause into the route as a lunch stop. Note that alcohol is not sold in Brunei, which simplifies evening logistics rather than complicating them.
Temburong and the oil belt
The Temburong district, home to the pristine Ulu Temburong National Park, connects to the capital by the Temburong Bridge, a sea-crossing road link that replaced the old boat-and-Malaysia detour and put the park entrance towns within about an hour of the city. Coaches run to the jetty at Bangar, where registered boat guides continue upriver. West of the capital, the oil towns of Seria and Kuala Belait generate steady corporate shuttle work along the coastal highway, about an hour and a half from Bandar Seri Begawan.
