Corporate & Group Transport in Angola

Group transport in Angola is largely corporate and oil-sector work rather than leisure touring, concentrated in Luanda and the coastal cities. A quote for staff shuttles, delegate transfers or event transport can be arranged with a local operator once the route and dates are known.

Luanda's airports in transition

Luanda is moving its international traffic to the new Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ), which is government-owned and run by the national airports operator ENANA, while the long-standing Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport (LAD) has handled the capital's flights for years. Because the changeover has been phased, the single most useful thing to confirm before a delegation arrives is which airport the flight actually uses, so the driver stages at the right one for the Luanda airport transfer.

Moving a group in and around Luanda

Luanda is the oil-sector hub and generates most of the corporate shuttle and delegate-transfer demand, with the coastal cities of Benguela, Lobito and Lubango adding their own. The FCDO notes that roads outside Luanda and the provincial capitals are often in poor condition, that a roadworthy four-wheel-drive may be appropriate for longer journeys, and that travel is best avoided at night. For conferences and site visits, a held vehicle with a driver who knows the city tends to work better than back-to-back point transfers. This suits corporate travel bookings where timings shift through the day.

Provinces we do not cover

Some areas are off the itinerary. The FCDO advises against all but essential travel to Cabinda Province (other than Cabinda city) and to within 1km of the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Lunda Norte, and advises against travel to the diamond provinces of Lunda Norte and Lunda Sul unless necessary. The FCDO also warns that landmines and unexploded ordnance remain a hazard on some roads, verges and bridges. We do not arrange transport into those areas. Share the city, the pickup points and the passenger count and we will return a fixed quote.

Bus Hire in Angola: Common Questions

Luanda is moving international traffic to the new Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ), run by the national operator ENANA, while the older Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport (LAD) has served the city for years. Confirm which airport your flight uses so the driver stages at the right one.

Most demand is corporate and oil-sector: staff shuttles, delegate transfers and event transport in Luanda, plus movement around the coastal cities of Benguela, Lobito and Lubango. Leisure coach touring is uncommon.

We do not arrange transport into the areas the FCDO advises against travelling to: Cabinda Province other than Cabinda city, within 1km of the DRC border in Lunda Norte, and the Lunda Norte and Lunda Sul diamond provinces. The FCDO also warns of landmines on some roads and verges.

For multi-stop corporate days, a held vehicle with a local driver usually works better than separate transfers. The FCDO notes roads outside Luanda are often poor and night travel is best avoided, so itineraries are planned for daylight with realistic timings.
